EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Has over 27 years of hands on design
experience, including 23 years with manufacturing, architectural and
consulting engineering firms, with responsibilities for complete detailed
design and implementation of educational, commercial, industrial, and health
care projects. Directly involved with client marketing and proposals,
project staffing and supervision, development of design concepts, manpower
estimates and cost estimates. Responsible for all phases of design including
computer assisted calculations, system analysis and coordination, CADD
layout and drafting of final bid documents, enlarged plans, details,
schematics, and specifications, coordination with local authorities, review
of bids, equipment selections and submittal drawings, and onsite
construction observation.
Familiar with all major building systems electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
Design capabilities include: low voltage and medium voltage power
distribution, protective device coordination, ground fault analysis, solar
power generation, interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm, water and
waste plumbing, heating and air conditioning.
Proficient with numerous CADD and application software packages and computer
systems including: Microstation, AutoCad, SKM, Symphony, Lotus, WordPerfect,
TimeLine, Microsoft Windows and numerous other software applications.
Special interests include lighting design, system integration, PC networking
and analysis, and computer programming.
